Life Drawing - Term 14, Week 5

I remember I fell asleep after work and was late for this class. So I missed the first half of class as being so late I couldn't find any way to park.  Note to self, do not sit down and close eyes after work on life drawing nights!

Life Drawing - Term 14, Week 1

So these drawings are the start of term back in April at my local life drawing class.  I think you can see how I struggled to draw this model. This just makes me want to try harder and draw her more so I am always pleased when we have her. I also tried to fill the whole paper with the longer poses which also seemed to make the drawings even more difficult.  As always more drawing practice is required.

Life Drawing Day - 24.6.14

These are from a local life drawing day I went to back in April.  It was a really good day and looking at these drawings now I can see how I was really challenged with some proportions on some of the poses.

Lavender Hill - Term 6, Week 9

3 week pose - 7 hours
I think I ended up over doing this one and gave the model a tan.  She actually had quite pale skin. If you want to progress though you have to not be afraid to make a mess or get things wrong, so I would rather try and error than not try at all.

The dark charcoal lines are my teachers corrections

This was my last drawing for this term.  As always I have had a really good time and I was pleased at how far I got with this portrait as I am usually very slow. I am really looking forward to doing more next term.
